Web page hosting is a fairly typical aspect of life these days. Almost everyone is hosting a web page of their own. If you are not necessarily computer savvy or just can't seem to understand HTML code but still want to give it a try, this is the right place for you. I will show you the simplest and most direct way to get your own professional looking web page on the internet no matter how foreign this concept may seem to you right now.
In order to get started with your web page, you will first need to download or buy a program that will help you to build and edit your web page. As a beginner, you would do better to use a program that is simple to use and easy to learn. Programs like Coffee Cup, Cool Page, Adobe PageMaker, and Serif are great for the beginner. You can use a program that will teach you HTML or you can get a drag and drop program. It is completely up to you.
You can either use the paid versions of these programs or you can download the free versions. The paid programs usually offer you a free trial period so that you can have time to get used to the program and buy it later. The paid versions do offer more features, but some of the free versions are pretty good. After you chose your program, you will then choose your topic, format and build your site.
Once you have chosen your program and designed your web page, you will need a host to publish your web page for you. You can use a free host or pay for one if you would like. It is really up to you. Paid servers will not interrupt or interfere with your web site; meaning that they will not bombard your web page with banner ads and pop ups. If you have ever visited a web site that has a lot of pop ups, you already know how annoying that is.
