Swirl some colors around, draw some doodles, and you will have a completely original web design for your site. If you are an actual artist you can make backgrounds with your own artwork if you want to, and if you do know html you can make yourself a completely original html layout. Is it hard to post sites with complicated web design?
The complexity of the web design used does not affect the posting of your site. For any background you use you will have to load the image onto your site. Use online tutorials if you need help with specific layout, or loading, or design problems. They are very helpful and most are created by people just for the sake of assisting other people with the use of these programs. Because these tutorials are created by ordinary people the language used is usually easier to understand than tutorials for the programs themselves and can be true life savers.
