Is the free domain name really a bargain?
When you are looking to register a free domain name, you will often find out that you can find these free services just about everywhere on the net. Free web services are easier to find than your car keys. Whether or not the price is right is not really the question that is on people's minds. What is though is whether or not the free domain names are worth it in the end. The answer to that can go either way.
The word 'free' draws a lot of people in all by itself. It doesn't matter what the words is applied to, most of us will see 'free' and we will be standing in line for days before we even know what is being offered. It is sort of funny really and it is a crime that we are all happy to commit every day if we can. Nothing that is free can really be bad right? The truth is that it all depends on what the free item is being applied to.
What about the free domain name?
Free domain names are wonderful for websites that are not meant to be used for business purposes. I'm not saying that free domain names are not good for business sites in general, but they can cause some problems that a business will not be able to afford. For example, if you are hoping to run a site that sells a product or service, free domain names tend to be a lot longer than paid names because they advertise the host that gives you the free domain name.
