7. Use your URL on everything. Put it on your business letterhead, your business card and make sure that it appears in any print ads or brochures that you send out.
8. Add your URL to your email and BB signatures so that every piece of mail or forum discussion post you make will carry it.
9. Send out regular updates and web digests from your web site to customers, and invite them to come back.
10. Add your web site to free directories that carry listings for your product.
There are some excellent ways to increase your visibility by becoming known as an expert on a subject, or just as a helpful professional. Extend that to the real world as well to increase your web site's visibility in your town.
11. Post on forum and discussion boards about your business, or about web issues.
12. Make sure that the content on your web site is helpful and informative for your visitors.
13. Syndicate your web content via RSS feeds so that other web masters can link to it and publicize your web site.
14. Write short, informative articles for other websites for free - and a link to your web site from your article. It's a good way to establish yourself as a well-known expert and professional in your field.
15. Extend your good citizenship. Launch a campaign to donate part of your profits to charity and publicize it. Sponsoring a local charity is great publicy for you, and good business for them.
