There are a number of P2P web page hosts, with more joining the fold every month. The oldest and most popular are:
www.lifelesspeople.com
Lifeless People enjoys high user ratings for customer service and quick turnaround on hosting requests, as well as for the quality of the community forums. The plans are based on a monthly posting quota, and there are special incentives and programs that actually allow you to earn cash for posting, or choose other rewards when you exceed your montly quota.
www.buildtolearn.com
Build to Learn allows you to accumulate points earned for posting and request upgrades to your account when you reach milestones. For 50 posts, you can request a basic account that's comparable to most paid basic hosting plans. When you reach 100, you can request an upgrade to their webmaster plan which includes double the email addresses, domain name hosting, subdomains and mySQL databases. You can earn all the way up to a guru account, with the capability of hosting 100 domain names and 100 email addresses, unlimited email forwarding and more.
Both P2P hosts also include domain hosting, so that you can host www.yourdomain.com instead of some long, unwieldy subdomain folder name. All in all, if you're the helpful type, or just a social butterfly, P2P hosting may be a great way to get your web pages hosted for free.
