Domain name registration is something that many people assume is a difficult process. They automatically think that it is something that the "professionals" do, something that the average person cannot. Luckily, they are wrong.

For anyone who wants to create their own website, finding an available domain name is something that is crucial. There are many sites available through the internet with services that provide just that. Domain name registration for everyone! They provide the required information behind the process, to make the consumer feel less intimidated by the situation as well they walk the buyer through every step of the purchase. Sites like these are built specifically for people who are new to the process of domain name registration and purchasing.

How Domain Name Registration Works

I myself have purchased and registered a few of my own domain names. I was unsure as to how the process worked and how to find out if the domain name will get high traffic, or if it was taken already. I did my research. I used two of the most popular domain name registration sites: www.godaddy.com and www.register.com. These two companies are both completely reliable and professional, but on a level that even a newcomer can understand the process and the simple basics behind the process.

They want you to understand and feel comfortable during your domain name registration and purchase process. You have a domain name in mind and you type it into the search bar. You have the option to choose the extension of the domain name, ex. .com, .net, etc. Now obviously, the .com extension is the most popular but there are others that work as well.
