Bravenet requires very little to get you started on building your site. A small amount of basic, personal information is required on the sign-up page before choosing a domain name. After registering and selecting your domain name, you can click on the link for the "Web Site Wizard" page.

Next, use the "Step by Step" link to take you to the next page where you can either build your pages from pre-made, theme pages or create a customized web site by choosing a layout design, along with a color scheme. For the beginner, you might want to go with the theme pages. Bravenet has several to choose from, including "Automobile," "Butterflies," and "Traveling." These theme pages already have a quirky text design and eye-catching pictures built into the designs.

After choosing a particular theme, there are three different layout choices from which you can select.
