Not so long ago I went on a hunt for cheap domain name hosting for use as an art site. Little did I know at the time how difficult it would be to find one, let alone find a decent one. There are many issues that small, new business owners face while trying to start up a web branch to their business. The first hurdle in finding a decent domain host.
As the owner of a new business your first goal will always be to stay in the black, so you would be best to chose a cheap host. The problem is many of these cheap sellers are not necessary reputable. Your domain name can be taken right out from under you unless you lock it, even though you paid for it. Not all hosts offer the service to allow you do do this. It might not seem like a big deal but it is. You do not want your small business taken right out from under you do you?
A domain name must suit the business for which it is being chosen. Yourname.com, will not be a good choice for a small software company. If your business it would be best if your domain name was something along the theme of your business i.e; if you have a software business a good domain name might be dynamicsoftware.com, or something like that. The more memorable the better.
